TWISTERS SUMMER LEAGUE
Twisters is Twin Creeks’ Summer League Swim Team. It is a two month program (May/June) that gives kids the opportunity to compete in a fun, team oriented environment against other swim clubs in the area. Summer League is for kids ages 5 to 18. Practices are held Monday through Friday after school in May and in the morning once school is out. We'll compete in home and away meets on Saturdays and host special parties at the club for the swim team. To be eligible, kids must be able to swim one length of the pool without assistance.
Practice Schedule
Monday through Friday
Mon, May 3 – Thurs, June 3 After School Practice from 4 - 7pm
*May 31, June 4 *No practice, Memorial day, last day of school*
4-4:45pm ages 8 & under
4:45-5:45pm ages 9, 10 & 11
5:45-7pm ages 12 & up
Mon, June 7 – Fri, June 25 Morning Practice from 8 - 11am

8-8:45am ages 8 & under
8:45-9:45am ages 9, 10 & 11
9:45-11am ages 12 & up
Each age group will have practice daily, which allows flexibility in attendance due to conflicts with other sports, extracurricular activities or school. Children may be moved to a different group due to skill and size of practice. The final practice schedule is dependent upon actual numbers of swimmers in each age group. Swimmers will be placed into summer practice groups based not only on age, but also by skills observed during after school practice during the month of May. Our goal is to have an appropriate number in each group to allow for effective coaching as well as swimmer safety.
